This Morning at Woodward First Assembly we honored the girls ministry for all their hard work. Straight Talk Part-1-Watch Your Words

“Sticks and stones may break my bone but words will never hurt me.” This is common play ground banter that you have more than likely said or heard. The truth is that our words are powerful and can be used to build each other up or tear each other down. Today Pastor Brad starts a new series entitled Straight Talk. This morning he encouraged us to Watch Your Words. In order not to spread gossip we must first ask these three questions:
1. Is my conversation helpful or hurtful?
2. Am I making private maters public?
3. Am I permitting others to gossip?
